Dr. Chris Henninger, DMD
Dr. Henninger graduated with a B.S. in biology and chemistry from the University of South Carolina in 2001 and received his D.M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2006. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital that focused on oral surgery, dental implants, and dental sedation.
After his residency, Dr. Henninger served as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy for 4 years. During that time he served aboard Camp Pendleton, on the USS Boxer, and at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Henninger currently practices full scope general dentistry with an emphasis on dental implant reconstruction and dental sleep medicine. He is also one of 10 restorative dentists in the country IV
sedation credentials and is a California Dental Board on-site examiner for this services. He maintains hospital staff privileges at Scripps Memorials Hospital Encinitas.
Dr. Henninger is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has been certified as a Master of the College of Sedation in Dentistry by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and as a Qualified Dentist by the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society.
