I thought my oral health was fine. I didn’t have a lot of cavities. I brushed my teeth. I flossed most of the time. But, I would definitely say that coming here, I got an education on my entire health via my mouth. I didn’t realize how susceptible the rest of my body was to my oral care.
I’ve had several crowns put in. I’ve actually had to have crowns replaced from our time in the military. It’s fantastic. It’s done while you’re sitting in the chair for three hours. You pick out a movie, you hang out, and you walk out and your smile’s perfect again.
I feel like I have a million dollar smile. It’s straight, it’s white, and I know, in my heart, that it’s healthy. For me, that is definitely confidence building, and I love that it’s gonna continue that way, that that’s something that they’ve got.
As long as I follow what’s done, I’m good to go. I really love that. It’s a great way to just step out into the world every day. Brush your teeth, you know you’re healthy. Walk out the door. Everybody loves a smile. Smiles are free. It’s great when you know you have a beautiful, healthy smile to share with others.

Before I saw Doctor Davey, I don’t think I’ve been to the dentist in like, years prior to that. I think I was very anxious about the procedures and about what it all entailed. When I finally came and got rolling with the process, they made me feel really comfortable, they introduced sedation as part of my procedure. I had to have a crown done because I had waited so long for my teeth health to be good.
The sedation made me feel … It was a life changer. It made me feel comfortable during the procedure, I didn’t remember a lot of it, but I was able to participate in anything he needed, directions.
My confidence had boosted completely afterwards. I always feel comfortable now, coming back if I need a procedure, I know it’s not really that big of a deal. If I need any sort of sedation, it helps with that. I just remember being happy during my procedures, I remember being comfortable and it was absolutely no anxiety, which is a first for me because I’m usually kind of an anxious person when it comes to any kind of procedural, medical, dental, so it was amazing.
First and foremost, to ease the dental anxiety, they’re just very kind here, they’re very good people, they’re very warm, they make you feel comfortable in the beginning, they treat your needs individually, and then if you need something that is procedure that takes a little bit time, they understand the sedation process.
They will administer sedation, which helps the anxiety, it helps with any kind of pain tolerance that may have, which mine is pretty low, and so I think that they’re just good with individual care, they’re very caring, they’re kind of nurturing in a way, because sometimes you just need a little nudge when you’re afraid of the dentist, and they know how to do that. They know how to care for you and make you feel comfortable, and then afterwards, you’re happy and you feel good. It doesn’t hurt and it feels good to come here and know, “Okay, I’m not gonna be in so much pain and it’s okay.”

The team here is a family, and I have never been more comfortable going to a dentist office in my life. When I arrived I did some work, just some research on what this was, and I hadn’t liked my smile ever, in my life. So when I came in I knew I was going to get several teeth done, but I didn’t know how many.
So, as I sat down in the chair we began to talk it over with Dr. Davey, and the assistant that I was working with, and then there were a couple of other people in the room that are working through this process with me. And basically, as they’re looking at the mouth, they decided they were going to do six teeth, the front two and then two on either side, but as we continued to talk about it, and I did a natural smile for me, it actually showed that there were eight teeth total, and they decided to do all eight.
After getting set up, he told me exactly what was going to happen, and how long it was going to take. And then he began to work on my mouth. He worked relatively quickly, I was surprised at how quickly he was able to remove the cap, and then get through the other teeth, to the point that he was ready to take the next step.
I got a chance to relax, and I happened to be watching a tremendous video in the mean time, just to help me relax. Finishing it off, the next thing I knew is after a period of time he came in with the teeth. The crowns and the veneers were ready to go, and he came in and he had to check each one individually, he had to fit it. The next thing I knew, I had these teeth, everything was off out of my mouth, and they’re giving me a mirror, and I was astounded. I loved what I saw.

The reason that I like coming here is because of the staff. They are the warmest, friendliest people that you ever want to meet. I thought my oral health was up to par. After the crown and after the education of going through the procedure, the team informed me of everything that they were doing. Little did I know, I thought the healthiness of my teeth were much better than what I perceived them to be. I learned a lot. In that educational process I learned what to do moving forward to prevent future crowns and deep cleaning, et cetera. It was educational.
As I walked out I felt smarter, more knowledgeable about the healthiness of my mouth and what can I do moving forward to prevent things from coming up in the future. Getting the crown here for me was actually educational. The technology that this office has is really amazing. Things that would usually take a week or two to final completion, they can do you within a matter of hours. For me, I was really enlightened about what’s happening with this particular practice and technology. Not all dentistry offices conduct their practice in such a way. That’s not good or bad, but knowing that this particular practice is on the cutting edge of technology, I embrace it and it helps me move through my busy life faster. Opposed to coming back multiple times for the same reason, I come here a one stop shop respectfully and then I’m on doing life, if you will.
My mouth felt fresh. It felt clean. It felt healthy. Even when I look into the mirror and see the healthiness of my gums, when I see myself in photos or a video, when I see the smile I immediately look at my teeth. I feel comfortable behind the camera. Quite often my job takes me in front of an audience, and it’s important to know that I am mimicking the lifestyle that I’m encouraging others to live, and it starts here at this practice.
